Software Application Engineer - Embedded Engineering

We’re looking for a talented Software Application Engineer to join our Application team.

Responsibilities

  • Support and understand Arbe's customer needs, develop partnerships, align on expectations, and ensure a high customer satisfaction level.
  • Design and implement RT embedded software framework and application per customer needs.
  • Debug customer issues in RT embedded software.
  • Support customer SW (embedded) trainings and integration camps (both remote and on customer site).
  • Collaborate with internal R&D teams.
  • Collaborate with the account manager to accommodate the customer's needs.
  • Create technical documentation.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer/Electrical Engineering 
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software programming
  • At least 2 Years of experience with customer-facing roles
  • Proven experience with C/ C++ programming experience
  • Debug (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Network analyzer, etc)
  • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-company processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Readiness to work in a challenging environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ThreadX OS
  • Experience with one or more of the following OS: Vector’s Microsar OS/ ETAS’s RTA-OS/ Elektrobit’s EB Tresos Safety OS/ Blackberry’s QOS (QNX for Safety)
  • Experience with programming on Synopsis based MCU
  • Experience with communication interfaces: ETH, CAN, SPI, UART
